All Series 4 audio cables are assembled by hand in Orlando, Florida. The Series 4 phono cable set is comprised of a S4 Single-Ended RCA audio cable and ground wire. Series 4 Single-Ended RCA cables begin with ultra-pure highly conductive oxygen free copper (HC-OFC) developed specifically for audio applications. Each conductor is a solid single gauge wire chosen to support multiple frequencies and to prevent grainy distortion caused by stranded wire. Tributaries Twin-Axial cable design is perfect for unbalanced analog audio systems. In the Twin-Axial design there are dedicated conductors with equal impedance for positive and negative signals. The signal conductors are wrapped with dual shielding to keep noise from reaching the single path. The ground wire is a flexible 20AWG stranded wire terminated with a gold plated spade lug that will fit ground posts that are 4mm and smaller. The Series 4 Single-Ended RCA cable is a high performance cable that looks as good as it sounds

The Series 4 Phono cable set is stocked as a pair plus one ground wire. Phono cable sets are available in ½ meter to 4 meter lengths with custom lengths available.

All Series 4 audio cables are meticulously assembled by hand in Orlando, Florida. Series 4 Bi-Wire Speaker cables begin with ultra-pure highly conductive oxygen-free copper (HC-OFC) developed specifically for audio applications.  Six stranded bundles are constructed by twisting strands clockwise and then wrapping the bundles counterclockwise around one insulated large solid conductor canceling magnetic fields thus reducing distortion. Two 16AWG conductors are designed for connection to the high frequency loudspeaker driver terminals while two 14AWG conductors are designed for connection to the low frequency driver terminals.  Tributaries Series 4 Star-Quad design results in a high performance speaker cable that looks as good as it sounds.

Tributaries Series 4 Fiber Optic cables are single mode plastic optical fiber made from 1mm crystal-clear fiber cores surrounded by a highly reflective cladding and a protective jacket. The cladding and jacket are applied in concentric layers during the drawing process to prevent damage to the fiber that may occur during a 2 step process. The constant thickness improves losses due to attenuation. The 4AO has highly polished termination ends that resemble the convex look of a camera lens to ensure maximum signal transfer. This procedure ensures less than 0.1dB loss at each termination

To maintain a consistent 75 Ohm impedance, the coaxial Series 4 S/PDIF Digital Audio cable’s 22AWG center conductor is surrounded by a perfectly concentric layer of foamed PE dielectric.
